Participants: My Grammy, PeePaw, Mom, Dad, Brother, and Me.
First, I took the two waffles and put them in plastic sandwich bags clearly labeled ‘Waffle One’ (The Eggo Waffle) and ‘Waffle Two’ (The Wal-Mart Waffle) (Obviously I didn’t put what they really were on the bags, I wrote it in my Notebook). Next, I cooked the waffles. I put the Eggo waffle on the left side of the toaster, and the Wal-Mart on the right. Next, I cut the waffles up into six pieces and arranged them on the plate, once again Eggo on the left and Wal-Mart on the right. After that, I blindfolded my subjects and gave them both waffles. To make sure they weren’t cheating off each other, I made ‘Waffle One’ and Waffle Two’ different each time. The orders ended up like this: Grammy-Eggo=1, Wal-Mart=2, Brother- Eggo=2, Wal-Mart =1, Dad-Eggo=1, Wal-Mart=2, Mom- Eggo=2, Wal-Mart=1, PeePaw- Eggo=1, Wal-Mart=2. My brother told me that my order was Eggo=1, Wal-Mart=2. (Obviously he told me the order after my tests. Finally, I asked them which one the thought was the name-brand and why.
